Commander High Performance School Europe believes firmly in the principle of total immersion and a one-to-one, personalized instructor/student relationship.

The training is intensive. Students book blocks of time and work with Mike Perry as a dedicated instructor during that time. Most of the training takes place over France with ample opportunity to plan pleasant navigation exercises and stop-off's. Many students combine their learning with useful business trips to UK, Ireland and Europe. Here they have the double benefit of gaining practical experiences as well as reaching their business destination with none of the hassle of commercial flying.

Since the school provides only tailor-made courses, it is not possible to be specific on duration. However, typically:

A one-week conversion course would include a minimum of 11 hours flying time and a further 13 hours ground school.

Ab initio courses should expect to add approximately 6 and 7 hours respectively to the basic 45-hour PPL syllabus to convert to a complex single.

For IMC procedural practice the school has a brand new PCATD Cat III simulator.
